THE NILE DELTAS at HRH C.R.O.W.S. 2018

While we've been busy writing material and preparing for recording, we haven't forgotten about our live work. So we're really excited to announce that we'll be playing the very first HRHCROWS weekender in September next year.
It's a cracking line-up and tickets are selling amazingly well (it's only just been announced!). Take a look at the poster for some truly cool names. Hope to see some of you there!

The band

The Nile Deltas are a rock 'n' roll band on their own terms, an unashamed 'song' band with a voice up front drenched in soul. Soaking up the 'influences of their influences', The Nile Deltas have arrived at their own place, a very British rock band with an American flavour, think early Whitesnake with a feathering of The Black Crowes, Free with a faint aroma of Blackberry Smoke.

After spending the latter half of 2016 in the studio, writing and recording demos, The Nile Deltas are heading out live to hone the material, before taking up an invitation to record their debut EP at legendary Rockfield Studios.

"Great stuff! Good old fashioned classy southern bluesy rock. Great guitar tones, some nice grooves, plenty of Hammond and a Paul Rogers vocal edge in places". - Paul Miro (Apes, Pigs & Spacemen)

The Nile Deltas had an absolute blast playing RMF '17. The guys opened the festival on a sunny (until later)  Saturday and drew a great and very appreciative crowd. Here are some of the reviews of the guys' performance below:

Live @ Robfest 3 - Leicester

The Nile Deltas performed in Leicester on Saturday night dishing out some big old rock 'n' roll as part of our path towards playing at Ramblin' Man Fair this summer! Along with three of Leicester's finest bands - The Midnight Dogs, Siobhan Mazzei Band and Acid Haystack and the Shattered Villain. The event, 'Robfest 3', honoured the birthday of a great friend of the band and super-talented local photographer - Rob Gurney.

Had a blast at Wicked HathernFest!

The Nile Deltas hit the stage at Wicked HathernFest near Loughborough (UK) last weekend. This is a great festival - growing rapidly from just a few hundred locals a few years ago into a damn fine proper festival! The boys played songs from the new album to a great crowd who were enjoying themselves in the sun of a summer's afternoon.
Epic songs, brilliant music, superbly well played! I seriously encourage you to check these boys out!”
